We teamed up with Rosie Mae’s Alpaca Farm to offer a truly one of a kind experience in Chattanooga! You’ll start the morning with a guided hiking tour in the mountains - complete with transportation, professional photography, snacks, waters and expert local guides. After the hike & photos, we’ll take a short drive to Rosie Mae’s to enjoy fresh coffee and go behind-the-scenes to pet & feed their 8 adorable alpacas after hours — when the farm is closed to the public!

**Important note: Going in the fence with the alpacas is exclusive to our private tours. You cannot enter their fence on a regular visit to Rosie Mae’s.**

LENGTH OF TOUR:

  • Tour averages 3-4 hours from pick-up to drop-off.

  • This includes the transportation time, hiking/photo time, and time at the alpaca farm.

  • We’ll pick you up in the morning and have you back for lunch.

LENGTH OF walk:

  • We’ll hike around 1.5 miles total.

  • This hike is rated as easy + beginner friendly!

  • The path features mild elevation change (just enough to work up a sweat).

  • Great option for families with young children, or adults looking for a low-impact hike.

TRANSPORTATION TIME:

  • Tour includes a 20-minute drive to the mountains & a stop at Rosie Mae’s on the way back.

  • This is one of our closest tours to downtown Chattanooga.

    Hike FEATURES:

  • Easy hike in the woods to a mountain overlook of the iconic Tennessee River Gorge

WHAT TO WEAR:

  • Sneakers or hiking shoes with good tread.

  • During fall, we recommend a t-shirt, pants & a light jacket.

  • Dogs are welcome on the hike - we just require a leash.
    *Dogs are allowed at the alpaca farm, but not inside the coffee shop or in the fence with the alpacas*
