If you’re all about the waterfalls, this is the tour for you! A visit to one of Tennessee’s largest + most popular state parks can’t be missed. This is the ultimate half day tour for seeing the best scenery we can offer near Chattanooga. We’ll see 5 waterfalls (including the tallest waterfall in Tennessee at 256ft tall!), stop at 2 suspension bridges along the way, and check out the views at a vast overlook of rolling mountains! It’s one epic adventure, perfect for a winter day.

LENGTH OF TOUR:

  • Tour averages 6-7 hours from pick-up to drop-off.

  • This includes the transportation time + the hiking time.

  • We’ll pick you up in the morning and have you back for a mid-afternoon lunch.

    TRANSPORTATION details:

  • Tour includes a 1.5-hour drive to the park & a 1.5-hour drive back to Chattanooga.

  • This is our farthest tour from downtown Chattanooga.

  • Once at the park, we will be driving to 4 different areas to view scenery.

  • Due to the length of this tour, it may not be the best choice for families with young kids.

HIKE details:

  • Most of the park’s trails are rated as moderate and include rocky, uneven terrain.

  • Some of the waterfalls can be seen via a short walk from the parking lot.

  • The trail to the bottom of the main 256ft waterfall is considered challenging due to steep elevation change (it’s worth it though!)

WHAT TO WEAR:

  • Sneakers or hiking shoes with good tread/grip.

  • During winter, we recommend layers - a long sleeve, pants, and a jacket.

  • Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash due to park rules :)
